EXTRA HELP
High SchoolExtra Help
If you have any questions about your subjects or need help with the homework, you can visit your teacher or any teacher of that subject to get help. This is called "extra help." Extra help is one of the most important services available to students at Calhoun. During the school day, extra help is available at the Learning Center on each floor. You can go there during your free or lunch period. On the first floor, the Learning Center is in room C-158. On the second floor, it's in room 223, and on the third floor, it's in room 324. ENL Learning Center is in the ENL room (235). It's ok if you get help from someone who is not your teacher but teaches the same subject. The teachers in the learning centers are there to help you. Check the ENL bulletin board or the Calhoun Web site for the schedule. After school or sometimes before school, you can visit your teachers in their classroom for extra help. Ask your teacher what days he or she is available. When you go, make sure to get the signature of the person who helped you for your “Extra Help Sheet.” |
